Prior to 1977, our institution assigned accession numbers lacking the prefix "19" resulting in TMS generated object sort numbers that cannot be strictly sorted by year of acquisition. I am able to make modifications to our data via a linked table in Access, but it will not allow me to add the digits 19 to the Object Sort Number field (Object table).  Is there another way to accomplish this?
