I've discovered that you can unlock advanced queries in TMS but there's
some (surely unintentional) quirkiness to it -- if you pull up the
saved query, click on the 'Sort' tab and then back on the 'Search For'
tab, you'll then be able to uncheck the 'Locked' box. We're in TMS
9.35.3530.

Subject: Re: modifying/deleting locked advanced query
The quickest way is to use SQL or whatever db you are using to open the
advanced queries table, find the appropriate query and change the
"locked" field from 1 to 0.
Once you save the table and restart TMS, the query will be unlocked.
Also, if you are TMS sys.admin you should be able to set your security
in TMS so that you can unlock locked tables (I'm making a big assumption
here, I always use the SQL route to make things global that I need to
see.).
Your technical sys.admin can do these things for you. Hope it helps,

Subject: modifying/deleting locked advanced query
Good afternoon,
Does anyone know how to modify or delete a saved, locked advanced query?
I created an advanced query, made it public but locked so no one could
manipulate it. I now want to modify it myself but it won't let me. I
can't figure out how to delete it either. I have searched the online
manual but could not find anything.
Thanks for your help!
